Hello, fellow Artists, Crafter and everybody else interested in the craft of Polymer Clay! Thank you for visiting my "About Me" page,
Living for over 30 Years in Berlin (Germany) I moved to the US in 1998, together with my family of 5 (3 kids, hubby, Jake the dog, and our newest edition "Tobi", Jake's play mate).
I was always involved in some kind of crafts, not always Polymer Clay but painting in oil (all the pictures in our house are self made), art projects with my kids and our girl scouts troop, making glass beads (well, mostly still trying), but since 2007 I am totally into Polymer Clay Cane and Bead making as you can probably tell :-) All the little flowers and patterns are slices from Polymer Clay canes and applied with a technique called millefiori, the canes are not painted but the original color of the clay used in the creations.
In the beginning of 2010 I started doing pottery as well, and combine my two favorite mediums by making inlays in vases pots etc. For my jewelry I also make ceramic beads, pendants and clasps. Some of my copper findings are handmade as well.
All my canes and beads are to 100% hand crafted and designed. I am using mostly Premo clay but also some Sculpey for my designs. I have my most recent projects pictured in my Gallery and some of them are still for sale. My Polymer Clay items can be purchased in my two Etsy stores, and soon on this website as well.
